Major Justin B. Teague was commissioned
into the Ordnance Branch through the ROTC program from the University of
Central Arkansas with a BS in Criminology/Sociology in 2004. Upon completion of
the Officer Basic Course at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Maryland, Major
Teague was assigned to the 526th
Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd BCT,
101st Airborne Division (AASLT) where he
served as a Distribution Platoon Leader, Maintenance Control Officer, and as
the Company Commander of E/526th BSB,
Forward Support Company (FSC) from 2005-2009, deploying twice to Iraq in
support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
After completion of the Captain’s Career
Course at Fort Lee, Virginia Major Teague was assigned to the Operations Group,
Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Fort Polk, Louisiana from 2009-2011
where he served as an Observer/Control (OC).
From 2011-2013, Major Teague was assigned to Human Resource Command
(HRC) as an Assignment
Officer for the Ordnance/EOD Captains. Following his assignment with HRC, Major
Teague assessed into the Acquisition Branch where he was assigned as an
Assistant Program Manager for PEO Missiles & Space, Redstone Arsenal,
Alabama from 2013-2016, while also graduating from the American Military
University with a MS in Logistics & Transportation Management.
Lastly, Major Teague before becoming the
Military Deputy of SEDD, served as a Capabilities Developer for the Combined
Arms Support Command (CASCOM) Fort Lee, Virginia from 2016-2018.
Major Justin B. Teague is married to the
former Ms. Sara B. Goodman of Savannah, Georgia, and has four daughters Katlyn,
Mallory, Tristyn, and
Riley, and one grandson Dillon.
